The interplay between positive and negative space characterizes the convex and concave forms of the LOOP collection by the Milan-based duo of Andreas Seegatz and Claus Eifler.
Duality. Oil and vinegar, salt and pepper, cream and sugar, soy and wasabi.
Unity. Each uniquely contoured set fits together on the same tray.
Face down. The plates’ signature rims make them lids for the serving bowls.
Face up. The rims create a three-dimensional effect and secure the sushi platters.
Recessed. The unique lids of the cast pieces force you to reach into their form. Projected. The handles of the same pieces reach out to meet your hand.
Fired down. LOOP cups are inverted in the kiln, their bottoms fully glazed.
